Web Designer for Psychologists, Therapists and Mental Health Professionals

How I became a Web Designer for therapists

I’m one of those people, like you, like everyone these days, who grew up being told to “find your passion.” But what if you don’t have one? For years, I kept asking myself that question. Everyone seemed to know exactly what they wanted to do with their lives, I didn’t.

Then, one day, I heard a podcast where Elizabeth Gilbert said something that changed everything:

“There are many people out there frustrated because they just don’t have a passion. But you know what we all have? Curiosity. Just follow your curiosity.”

The path of many curiosities

Laptop computer displaying various intricate circle and geometric designs, placed on a white desk with a beige vase holding pencils, a jar, and a rolled rope nearby, with sunlight casting shadows on the wall.

I’ve always been curious about everything: physics, math, psychology, art, design, and social sciences. That’s why I studied Communications in college: because, as I told myself back then, “it has a bit of everything, but not too much of anything.”

Soon, I wanted “more of something,” so I switched to Psychology. I’ve always been fascinated by how the mind works.

Except that, at that time (my early 20s), every concept, every idea, every class opened doors I wasn’t ready to walk through. I started overthinking. Anxiety and depression followed. So, I went back to Communications and finished my career. But my interest in Mental Health never stopped.

Where my worlds met…

Sunlight streaming through blinds onto a desk with a laptop, a jar of paintbrushes, an abstract landscape painting, and a woven basket, near a window.

One night, more than a decade later, in that dreamy moment between awake and asleep, something clicked. I realized I could blend my two worlds: mental health + communications.

Information architecture. UX design. Web design. All of them could become tools to make healing visible, accessible, and organized.

That’s how this project was born.

What I do now

A person sitting at a desk near a window with sunlight, a laptop, a container with pens, and a vase with dried plants.

Today, I help therapists, coaches, and healers translate their practice into a clear, beautiful, and strategic online presence. Websites that reflect who they are, how they work, and the transformation they offer.

I design websites and digital experiences that feel like an extension of your therapy room: calm, authentic, human, and trustworthy.

I believe design can heal too: when it connects the right person with the right therapist.

A few things about me…

A woman sitting at a desk in an office, smiling at the camera, with a laptop, coffee mug, and office supplies nearby.
  • I’m curious at heart. I love learning new tools, exploring ideas, and experimenting with how technology can serve well-being.

  • I work best when I can listen deeply to your story.

  • I’m from Colombia, I lived almost a decade in Seattle (loved it), and returned to my home country with my family, where I want my kids to grow.

  • I’m both structured and intuitive. I use frameworks (UX, IA, psychology), but always follow the emotional thread.

  • I’m a wife, mother of two, and nature and music lover.
